Welcome to Smart Mechanical Systems for Sustainability (SMSS), a pioneering organization founded by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University in 2023.
At SMSS, we are committed to developing students and faculty staff to be leaders in deep tech development and innovation, and to contribute to the advancement of sustainable solutions for a better future.
Our mission is to promote research and development, innovation, and multidisciplinary collaboration in the field of deep tech for sustainability with a focus on 3 areas of advance: Cyber Physical and Autonomous Systems, Biomechanics Advanced Material Manufacturing, and Carbon Neutral Energy Systems.
